Good question. We class ultimate blondes as the need to reach white blonde, either as a starting point before toning or as a finished result.
What is possible?
Well the answer to this will depend on your hair and its current condition. Dyed hair reacts very differently to natural ‘virgin’ hair. White blonde hair is not possible on every hair type I’m afraid, so we would require a consultation and strand test to be carried out prior to a ultimate blonde service.
What tones are possible?
Tonal work at its heart is a ‘tone on tone’ service. That means that new colour tone will be dependent on the existing tone, condition, and porosity of the hair. Therefore results can sometimes vary from one person to the next. That being said the world is your oyster these days with many shades coming in pastel or stronger to give a white blonde a but more interest, lilac, sky blue, blush rose even green tones are available as a toner.
How long will toners last?
This will all depend on the colour choice, strength of tone and condition of the hair. Two weeks should be realistic on the average shampooing routine.
